Hi everyone, and welcome to K-Diet Kitchen!
My teenager is totally obsessed with Buldak noodles, but buying those instant packs all the time adds up quickly. That’s why grabbing a standalone bottle of Buldak sauce has been a total game-changer in our house. It’s super affordable, lasts long in the fridge, and we use it on everything—from pasta and dumplings to quick stir-fries!
The 15-minute viral sensation! All the addictive, fiery kick of TikTok’s favorite noodles, but made lighter, easier, and budget-friendly at home. Today, I’m sharing our favorite go-to way to make it: a healthier, 15-minute creamy Buldak pasta. Let’s make it!
Ingredients
- Noodles: 1 serving of fusilli (or your favorite pasta). The spiral grooves catch the spicy sauce like a trap!
- The Sauce: 1–2 tbsp Buldak Hot Chicken Flavor Sauce (Grab a standalone bottle—it’s super affordable, lasts long in the fridge, and lets you control the spice).
- Creamy Base (Choose 1):
- Option A: 1/2 cup oat milk + 1 tbsp light cream cheese.
- Option B (Diet-friendly): 2 egg yolks (stirred in at the end for a rich, low-carb coating).
- Veggies & Extras: Minced garlic, a handful of baby spinach, and a drizzle of sesame oil.
Instructions
- Boil: Cook the noodles al dente. Save 2 tbsp of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté: In a pan with olive oil, quickly sauté the garlic and spinach until fragrant.
- Sauce: Turn heat to low. Add your choice of cream base (or milk) + the Buldak sauce. Mix well until smooth and vibrant.
- Toss: Add the cooked noodles and reserved pasta water. (If using egg yolks, turn off the heat first, then mix in the yolks quickly so they don’t scramble!)
- Serve: Plate it up, finish with a drizzle of sesame oil, and enjoy!
Chef’s Tips for Busy Parents
- Too spicy? Add a dollop of Greek yogurt or an extra egg yolk.
- Want it cleaner? Skip the dairy and use the egg yolk option for a guilt-free, protein-packed creamy kick.
Even when tired, 15 minutes of love in the kitchen fills the whole family with joy.
