The Easiest in the World: 15-Minute Korean Beef Bulgogi

My friends in here always say they love bulgogi but have no idea how to make it, which always made me a little sad. The truth is, it’s such an insanely easy dish to make! I really wanted to share how simple it is.

🛒 Ingredients & Sauce (1:1:1:1 Ratio)

  • 🥩 Beef: 1 lb (450g) sliced beef.
  • 🧅 Vegetables: Any vegetables you like (onion, carrot, green onion, etc.)
  • 🥣 Sauce:
    • Soy Sauce: 2 Tbs
    • Sugar: 2 Tbs (reduce to taste if preferred)
    • Minced Garlic: 2 Tbs
    • Wine (or water): 2 Tbs
  • ✨ Finish: 1 Tbs Sesame oil, Sesame seeds, Black pepper

💡 Chef’s Tip: Cooking wine is best, but if you don’t have any, just grab whatever cheapest wine you have at home—or simply use water!

🍳 Quick Steps

  1. Stir-fry beef & sauce together in a pan.
  2. Prep your vegetables while the meat is cooking.
  3. Add vegetables when the meat is almost done and quickly stir-fry together.
  4. Enjoy at your preferred doneness (slightly crunchy vegetables taste best with the meat!)

💌 A Warm Note from Me

  1. Beef: Honestly, any cut works fine, but I personally think the thinner, the better!
  2. Soy Sauce: Buying it from a Korean market tends to be a bit less salty.
  3. Broth & More: If you add lots of vegetables, it creates a nice broth, making it delicious to eat like a hot pot. I hope you enjoy making delicious bulgogi at home!

Bulgogi is a universally loved dish for both kids and adults, and adding plenty of vegetables makes it a fantastic, nutrient-packed diet-friendly meal that I hope you’ll enjoy making at home!
